We are looking to appoint two enthusiastic and committed Community Governors to join our local governing body. As a Community Governor you will be part of a committed team providing confident leadership, whilst creating robust accountability, oversight and assurance for the school’s educational performance.
The role includes:
- Attending governing body meetings, contributing to discussions and decision-making
- Conducting school-day visits to facilitate consistent monitoring, evaluation and active engagement with the learning environment
- Working collaboratively with governors and school leaders to monitor school performance, holding leaders to account for delivering high-quality education
- Taking part in training to develop your effectiveness in the role
